Daddy's Soda is what’s brewing when Mick Futrell and Jake Potter — best friends since childhood in coastal North Carolina — decide to turn decades of inside jokes, heartbreak and vinyl record collections into a two-man band. Their acoustic duo show blends original songwriting with homage to the legends they grew up listening to. Sometimes irreverent Americana, sometimes blistering rock and roll, sometimes both — like if John Prine and Keith Richards got locked in your shed with a cooler full of Miller Lite.
